Unpaid Internship for College Students (College Credit Only)

Are you a creative, driven college student passionate about music, content creation, and the vibrant culture of Nashville? Popville—a hub for artists and creatives—invites you to be part of our growing community. This internship is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the music and entertainment industry while building valuable skills in various areas.

Internship Focus Areas (Some crossover expected):

​

• Marketing, Promotion, and Public Relations

  • Assist with creating and executing promotional strategies

  • Collaborate on press releases, artist features, and community outreach

  • Build relationships with local creatives and media outlets

​

• Social Media Management

  • Help manage and grow Popville’s social media presence

  • Develop engaging content calendars and interact with our online community

  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends

​

• Content Creation (Visual Assets)

  • Create visual assets for social media, marketing materials, and events

  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality content

  • Assist with storytelling through video and photography

​

• Event Management & Booking

  • Support event planning, artist booking, and logistics

  • Assist with coordination and communication between venues, artists, and partners

  • Ensure events run smoothly and provide a great experience for attendees

​

Who You Are:

​

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university (able to receive course credit)

• Passionate about music, the arts, and supporting local creatives

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented

• Experience in one or more of the focus areas is a plus

• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Workspace (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Forms, Drive, etc.), Airtable, social media platforms, InShot, or other video editing software is preferred. We’re happy to train you in areas where you need to grow!
